Tomorrow: A procrastinator's work is never done

I’ve always measured my years by the school calendar. I started off as a sister of a student, then a student myself, then a teacher and a wife of a teacher, then a mother of students and now a grandmother of students. So my year has just recently begun and I’m having those teacher thoughts.

How do you want this year to end?
How are you going to make that happen?
When are you going to start?

Set that goal, make that plan, step out in faith that you’ve done your part and God will do His. Godly success involves a partnership between you and God. Success in God's economy means achieving the purpose for which God made you. That purpose can never be discovered without seeking Him with a whole heart. You may achieve great things without seeking God, but you will never achieve the things God set out for you to achieve without seeking Him. Unless you seek Him, you may find yourself one day climbing to the top of the ladder only to find it leaning against the wrong wall. I just had this vision of people frantically running from wall to wall with their ladders trying to find the right place to lean it. Not a pretty picture!
In 2 Chronicles 31:21 we have a shinning example of a man who had a great partnership with God: “In all that Hezekiah attempted in God's service, he was [wholeheartedly] earnest and single in his aim and dependence, and was prospered accordingly”.

I
love the Message translation of Ephesians 3:20 God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.

A Pearl to String: President Ronald Reagan said: “Inside the Bible’s pages lie all the answers to all the problems man has ever known… The Bible can touch our hearts, order our minds, and refresh our souls.”

Know you are loved and enjoy
Soaking up the shine from the Son,
Lyndi
